Pablo Sacaluga

Pablo Sacaluga has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Pablo started their career as a Graphic Designer at Fotocromía Lineal in 2003. Later, they worked as a Freelance Designer and Consultant from 2005 to 2009, undertaking UI and Graphic Design projects for online and offline marketing campaigns. In 2011, Pablo joined 8ycuarto :: studio&gallery as an Experience Designer and Graphic Designer, where they aligned customer needs with business goals and improved business strategy through customer journeys and competitors analysis. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an Experience and Interaction Designer at The Big House, where they conducted research, content audits, and usability testing. Pablo then joined Emergya as a User Experience Consultant in 2016 and continued working there until 2021. In this role, they collaborated with stakeholders to create end-to-end experiences, conducted research and design activities, and focused on user needs and business goals. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Digital Product and Conversational Designer at Emergya Digital, where they worked until 2021. Currently, Pablo serves as the Lead Product Designer at Astara Connect.

Pablo Sacaluga completed a Data Driven Design program at LA NAVE NODRIZA in 2019. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Science and Communications in Tourism and Travel Management from the Universidad de Cádiz from 2009 to 2012. Pablo also holds a Master's degree in Visual and Communications Arts from the Instituto de Artes Visuales, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Pablo Sacaluga has obtained various certifications in subjects such as philosophy of technology and design, designing and analyzing experiments, social computing, design principles, human-centered design, information design, input and interaction, and interaction design specialization. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as DesignLab University of Twente, Coursera Course Certificates, and NovoEd.
