Marios Passaris

Marios Passaris has a diverse and extensive work experience. Marios started as a Web Developer and Technical Consultant at K.MICHOS in 2012 and worked there until 2015. From 2013 to 2015, they also worked at Haroutioun Tsinarian & CO Ο.Ε as a Web Developer and Technical Consultant, where they created and maintained an e-shop using PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.

In 2015, Marios joined Digital Minds Ltd as a Software Developer and Technical Consultant, where they worked on projects involving YouTube big data retrieval, financial data management software, and visualizing and collecting Twitter content using Kibana, Elasticsearch, and Logstash.

In 2017, they joined CGI as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2019. Marios then joined Guardtime as a Software Engineer, focusing on private blockchain applications for healthcare providers and patients.

In 2020, Marios worked at Atellio, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Lead Software Engineer. Marios was involved in splitting a monolithic system to microservices, implementing real-time event communication, creating a file system service, and implementing a template engine. Marios also contributed to architectural designs and used Docker Swarm and Terraform for infrastructure as code.

In the same year, they also worked at Orange Quest as a CTO and Quant Engineer, specializing in the research and development of algorithms and trading software for the Crypto markets. Marios implemented services and optimized mathematical algorithms, built cache systems, and used GRPC streams for real-time order processing.

Most recently, in 2023, Marios joined Dexory as a Lead Software Engineer, continuing to utilize their expertise in software engineering and leadership.

Marios Passaris began their education in the technical and science sector at Geitonas School from 2009 to 2011. Marios then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, graduating in the year 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Marios has obtained several certifications. Marios completed courses in Web Components & Stencil.js from Udemy in May 2020. In February 2017, they received a certification in Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals from ROI Training. Marios also holds a Certification of Proficiency in English (ECPE) from the University of Michigan, obtained in December 2014. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Lab Service for mobile phones from Samsung Electronics in October 2014, and a certification in Development for Window Mobile phone from Microsoft in February 2011.

Marios has also received certifications in various other fields. Marios obtained a certification in Broadband Networks from Educational Forum Festival Fitisis in January 2011, and a certification in Internet Marketing from the same institution in January 2011. In January 2016, Marios achieved an IELTS Academic Score of 7.0 from IELTS USA. Additionally, they hold a Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from Goethe-Institut e.V., although the exact date of acquisition is unknown. Marios also attended the Polymer Project v2.0 Summit in London, organized by Polymer Project, although the specific details of their certification are not provided.
