Nikos Vekios

Nikos Vekios has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Nikos most recently served as a Regional Operations Manager at Boundless Life starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were an Area General Manager (Greece) at Selina from November 2021 to December 2022. Nikos also worked as a Hotel Operations Manager at Pacha Group from April 2021 to October 2021.

Nikos has a strong background in operations and management, as evidenced by their roles at Powderwhite Ltd. From June 2017 to October 2019, they served as the Director of Operations, overseeing multiple European locations and resorts. Nikos was responsible for leading a team of 100+ staff, ensuring product standards, and achieving guest satisfaction. From June 2014 to May 2017, they were the Overseas Operations Manager, managing operations across ski resorts and countries. Additionally, from June 2013 to May 2014, they held the position of Operations & HR Executive, focusing on recruitment, training, and HR administration. Nikos also worked as a Resort Manager from November 2012 to May 2013, managing a chalet program in France.

Nikos Vekios obtained an MSc in International Tourism Management from the University of Brighton from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business Finance at the Athens University of Economics and Business, spanning from 2002 to 2008. Nikos also participated in the Erasmus Programme at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2004 to 2005.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Nikos Vekios holds several certifications. Nikos obtained the Lean Six Sigma Foundations and Process Improvement Foundations certificates from the Project Management Institute in January 2021. In June 2020, they acquired the Hotel Distribution certification from Coursera. Prior to that, in May 2020, they obtained the certification in Revenue Management and Revenue Strategy for Hotels, also from Coursera. Furthermore, they hold a WSET certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, earned in September 2019.
