Mili Shrivastava has had extensive work experience in academia and research. Mili started their career at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as a Visiting Researcher in 2009. In 2008, they joined the Max Planck Institute of Economics as a Research Fellow until 2011. Mili then moved on to Bournemouth University, where they held various roles including Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Principal Academic in Strategy, and currently serves as the Deputy Head of the Centre for Sustainable Business Transformations.
Mili Shrivastava obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Jena, Germany, from 2006 to 2011. Mili also completed a Master's in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 2001 to 2003, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Miranda House from 1998 to 2001.
