Yaman Swiad

Yaman Swiad is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher of English at Bournville College since June 2018. With a strong academic background, Yaman earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics from the University of Warwick (2019-2023) and a Master of Arts in TESOL and Translation Studies from Aston University (2016-2017). Previous roles include Senior Lecturer at the University of Aleppo (November 2011 - January 2014) and freelance interpreter from February 2015 to May 2016. Yaman holds an additional Master of Arts in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Aleppo, completed in 2006-2010.
