Grant Thayer

Grant Thayer has had a diverse work experience in various industries. Grant first worked as a Wine Consultant at Lucas Liquors and Wine from 1999 to 2003. Grant then became a Managing Partner at Spring Creek Development Company LLC from 1999 to 2008, where they managed various LLC/LLLP investment groups in property development and redevelopment. In 1999, Grant also started working as a Realtor at Coldwell Banker, brokering the purchase and sale of various types of real estate until 2008.

From 2008 to 2014, Grant worked as a Senior Consultant at FMI, a company that provides management consulting and investment banking services to the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. In their role, Grant focused on strategic planning, financial analysis, and incentive compensation plan design. Grant also taught a negotiation skills course tailored for the needs of AEC firms.

Grant then joined LPR Construction in 2014 as their Chief Financial Officer until 2017. LPR Construction is a company that provides construction solutions to various markets.

After leaving LPR Construction, Grant served as the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary, and VP of Equipment for Longbow Industries and LPR Construction from 2017 to 2018. Longbow Industries oversees subsidiaries that provide construction solutions, offering support services such as accounting, HR, IT, recruitment, safety, and training. Grant later became the Interim President of Longbow Industries from 2019 to 2019.

Most recently, Grant joined Bouten Construction in 2019 as their Chief Financial Officer. In addition to their financial responsibilities, they also oversee the company's HR department and acts as the IT facilitator.

From 2004 to 2007, they attended the University of Denver, where they obtained an MBA and an MSF degree in Finance, with a focus on Investments & Corporate finance. Prior to that, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1994 to 1999, earning a Bachelor's degree in Geology.
