Morten Dæhli Aslesen

Morten Dæhli Aslesen has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. Morten Dæhli is currently working at Bouvet ASA as a Team Lead / Technical Lead / Solutions Architect, where they focus on solution architecture, cloud, DevOps practices, security, and compliance. Their responsibilities also include being a full stack developer and data scientist, with expertise in Python, Java, C/C++, React, machine learning, spark, data platform, data integration, GDPR, CI/CD, DevOps, SQL, and NoSQL.

Prior to their current role, Morten worked at Statkraft as a Quantitative Trader, where they developed and applied manual and automated quantitative trading strategies. Morten Dæhli was also involved in data integration, risk management strategies, data visualization, and automation using tools such as Python, Java, R, Oracle SQL, MongoDB, and custom web-frameworks. Morten Dæhli also worked at Statkraft as a Trainee in Corporate Strategy.

Before joining Statkraft, Morten had summer projects at DNV GL, Gwind AS, BKK Produksjon AS, and Butwal Power Company, where they gained experience in renewable hydrogen production, offshore wind power, IT and risk management, and financial analysis, respectively. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Economics at BSI Dans and as a Psychiatric Assistant at Helse Bergen. Morten Dæhli also served as a Conscript in the Norwegian Armed Forces.

Morten Dæhli Aslesen completed their education with the following achievements:

- From 2008-2014, they attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where they earned an MSc in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Energy, Natural Resources, and Environment.

- Between 2012-2015, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology at the University of Bergen (UiB).

- In 2013, they took a brief period to study International Management at the International University of Japan, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
