Robert Wagenaar

Robert Wagenaar has a strong background in international real estate investments. From 2013 onwards, they worked at Bouwinvest where they held several roles. Robert started as a Portfolio Analyst and Investment Controller for the International Investments department. Later on, they became the Manager of International Finance, where they were responsible for investment underwriting, analysis, valuations, reporting, and client presentations. In 2022, they were promoted to Head of Portfolio Operations and Transactions, where they played a crucial role in coordinating activities between regional teams. Currently, they serve as the Director of North American Investments. Prior to joining Bouwinvest, Wagenaar worked at Annexum as a Fund Controller.

Robert Wagenaar's education history begins with their undergraduate studies at the University of Groningen from 2006 to 2010, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics. Robert then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance from 2010 to 2011.

In 2013, Robert enrolled at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they completed an Executive Master of Finance and Control/ Register Controller (RC) program. This executive program lasted from 2013 to 2015 and provided him with advanced knowledge in finance and control.

Subsequently, from 2017 to 2018, Robert attended Henley Business School, where they achieved a certificate in European Non-Listed Real Estate Investment in collaboration with INREV. This program, known as the INREV/Henley Certificate, focused on the intricacies of real estate investment in the European market.

Robert's most recent educational endeavor occurred in 2023 at INSEAD. Robert completed the Management Acceleration Programme, which indicates their interest in honing their management skills. Unfortunately, no specific field of study is indicated for this program.
