Susan Hessel

Susan Hessel is a program chair in the School of Global Access. She has been with Bow Valley College since 1999, when she was hired as a casual instructor in what was then the Department of ESL and Languages. Since that time, she has held several different roles both in and out of the classroom.

In the School of Global Access, Susan works with three unique programs: Bridge and Youth in Transition, both for youth learners aged 18-25, and the full-time Practical Program, for adult learners with interrupted formal education.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in linguistics from the University of Calgary.
