Tuong Tran has extensive work experience in the field of agriculture and rural development. Tuong started their career in 2000 as a Crop Specialist at the Department of Agriculture - MARD. In 2005, they advanced to the position of Senior Official at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Crop Production, where they served until 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience and expertise in their field. In 2012, Tuong Tran took on the role of Deputy Head Of Division at the Department of Crop Production, MARD, where they demonstrated strong leadership and management skills. Most recently, in 2018, they joined BowerGroupAsia as an Agriculture Account Manager, leveraging their extensive knowledge and experience to support agricultural projects and initiatives. Tuong Tran pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their undergraduate degree. From 1994 to 1998, they attended the Vietnam National University of Agriculture and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science. Following this, they furthered their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Agribusiness from The University of Queensland from 2005 to 2006. Subsequently, they engaged in a Ph.D. program in Economics and Local Development at the Università degli Studi della Tuscia from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, in 2014, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on Economics.
