David Maroto

David Maroto has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. David is currently serving as the Director of Software Development at both Masimo Consumer and Bowers & Wilkins since April 2022. Previously, they worked at Monitor Audio as the Principal Software Architect Manager from August 2018 to April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of R&D Manager at Cyrus Audio Ltd from March 2014 to August 2018 and worked as an Embedded Software Engineer from January 2010 to February 2014. David started their career at Indra as a Defence Embedded Systems and FPGA Engineer from May 2006 to June 2009. Before that, they worked as an Electronics Engineer at General Electric from April 2005 to May 2006. David also gained experience as an Embedded Software Engineer (Intern) at Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG from November 2003 to May 2004.

David Maroto completed their education at various institutions. In 2007-2008, they pursued an MEng degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. David then proceeded to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same institution. Finally, from 2000 to 2004, David completed another Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In addition to their academic achievements, David Maroto also holds certifications as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in December 2021, and a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in January 2018.
