Kassiana P.

Kassiana P. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Kassiana worked at the Bowery Residents' Committee from June 2019 to March 2020, first as the Director of Social Services/Clinical Coordinator and then as the Director of Care Coordination. Prior to that, they spent four years at Supportive Services for Children as a Community Psychiatric and Support Treatment Counselor. From 2012 to 2019, they held multiple roles at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, including Clinical Supervisor, Senior Substance Abuse Counselor, Vocational Specialist, Comprehensive Care Manager, and MLTC Enrollment Liaison. Before that, they worked at the Partnership for Innovative Comprehensive Care, serving as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Medicaid Service Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator, and Day and Residence Habilitation Specialist. Kassiana'searliest experience was at St. Mary's Hospital for Children as a Nursing Assistant/Therapeutic Activities Assistant from 2009 to 2010.

Kassiana P. has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology B.S from the State University of New York at Old Westbury, which they obtained from 2004 to 2009. Kassiana then pursued a Master's degree in Public Affairs and Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York, where they studied from 2016 to 2017. In 2017 and 2018, Kassiana completed a program at the Outreach Training Institute, becoming a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, specializing in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling. Recently, in 2020, they participated in the Family Development and Leadership program at CUNY School of Professional Studies. Additionally, Kassiana holds certifications in CASAC from OTI Training Institute, CPR/BLS from the American Red Cross Greater New York, and New York State Notary Public from the NY Department of State.
