Joe Imel

Joe Imel has over three decades of experience in the newspaper industry, currently serving as the publisher of the Bowling Green Daily News and several other Kentucky newspapers under Carpenter Media Group. Imel began career stages as a photojournalist and evolved into roles including director of media operations and general manager, focusing on business operations and infrastructure support for multiple publications. Prior experience includes journalism positions at the Hardin County Independent and McLean County News, where coverage spanned news, sports, and government. Imel holds a degree from Western Kentucky University.
