Doug Kirkpatrick

Doug Kirkpatrick is an experienced industry trainer at Box Hill Institute, where delivery of the nationally-recognised TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment focuses on adult learners from various sectors. As a founding member and principal of Being Australian Pty Ltd, Doug has worked to create a platform for sharing Australian experiences through television and film. Previous roles include teaching foundation studies at Swinburne University of Technology, producing award-winning projects at Streamliner Productions in New York, and project management at Barsky & Associates, where complex audiovisual systems were developed for major organizations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Broadcast Media from Oregon State University and multiple certifications in training and assessment from Box Hill Institute and Sydney Institute of TAFE. Doug has been nominated for 'Teacher of the Year' in both 2014 and 2019.
