About the Role:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for executing the company's sales strategy and achieving pipeline and bookings targets. This involves identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. The BDM’s primary focus is to lead cross-functional efforts to propose, scope, and contract microgrid solutions. Primary focus is on Utilities, Cooperatives, and Municipals energy departments. They also have a secondary focus on growth markets such as commercial & industrial (C&I), EV charging, telecom, agriculture, etc. This role involves representing BoxPower's product and service offerings at conferences, associations, webinars, etc. to potential clients and partners. The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating organic pipeline by securing and delivering signed design studies and project engagements. The role requires traveling up to 50% of the time.
Compensation:
$75,000 to $120,000 (base + commission and bonus) potential.

Objectives:
Establish and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with the achievement of the annual quota.
Develop and implement market-specific sales strategies and tactics focused on securing organic business with target accounts, prospects, and key decision-makers.
Cultivate relationships with new prospects and existing customers to cultivate opportunities and deals.
