Sean Magnuson

Sean Magnuson has extensive work experience in the Boy Scouts of America organization. Sean first joined the Long Beach Area Council in 1999 as a District Executive. In 2002, they moved to the Pacific Harbors Council as a District Director. In 2010, they transitioned to the Pacific Skyline Council as an Assistant Scout Executive and COO. Sean's work with the Boy Scouts continued in 2013 when they joined the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council as the Director of Support Services. Sean then held the position of Director of Scouting Operations and COO before becoming the Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, they are responsible for overseeing the organization's financial status and reporting, analyzing financial trends and KPIs, strategic planning and forecasting, as well as corporate governance and HR functions.

Sean Magnuson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology from the University of Southern California, completing their studies from 1993 to 1997.
