Richard Cotten

Richard Cotten has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on pathology laboratories and diagnostic testing. Richard served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Boyce and Bynum Pathology Laboratories since 2013, where they played a key role in providing high-level diagnostic capabilities to physicians and patients. Prior to that, they were the General Manager - United Arab Emirates at National Reference Laboratory, managing a greenfield diagnostic laboratory startup funded by Mubadala Development Company. Richard also held various positions at Laboratory Corporation of America, including Vice President, and served as the Director of Operations - Transfer of Assets at Fidelity Investments. Additionally, Richard Cotten worked as a Division Controller at Laboratory Corporation of America, Controller at Quest Diagnostics, and Regional Controller at SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories.

Richard Cotten obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. Richard attended from 1976 to 1980. Later, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Amberton University with a focus on Business.
