Allyson MacLean is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research since June 2014. Prior to that, Allyson was a Marie Curie Fellow and Post-doctoral Researcher at the John Innes Centre from February 2010 to March 2014. Allyson completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology at McMaster University from 2003 to 2009. Allyson's research focuses on identifying and characterizing phytoplasma effectors and studying their impact on plant developmental processes.
