Bob Burgess

Bob Burgess has extensive experience in retail and purchasing, currently serving as a Hardgoods Buyer for Boyne Country Sports since October 2020, responsible for procurement across multiple locations. Prior to this role, Bob was a Buyer at Playmakers Athletic Footwear and Apparel from July 2009 to May 2020, where consistent double-digit sales growth was maintained. Bob also held the position of Retail District Sales Manager at The Schield Family Companies from June 2002 to June 2009, managing a significant territory and providing training and technical support. Additional experience includes roles as a Field Merchandiser at E.A. Langenfeld and Store Operations Supervisor at Eastern Mountain Sports, along with serving as Store Manager at Freestyle Sports Ski Shop earlier in Bob’s career. Bob Burgess holds a Bachelor's degree in Employment Relations from Michigan State University.
