Juan Ruiz-Diaz is an experienced leader with a strong background in community service and youth development. Currently serving as an intern for State Senator Nathalia Fernandez since March 2023, Juan also holds multiple positions within Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, Inc., including President, Programming Chair, and Vice President, demonstrating a commitment to coordinating impactful programs on topics such as mental health awareness and immigration policy. As the Fraternity and Sorority Life Associate Programming and Service Coordinator at the University at Albany, Juan develops service initiatives and fosters engagement among fraternity and sorority members in critical social issues. Additionally, Juan has worked as a Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle, providing mentorship and guidance to youth while coordinating community service projects.
