Johnny DiBartolo, JD has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Johnny started their career as the Middle & High School Program Manager at Hands On Atlanta in 1998 and later worked as a Program Officer at the Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism (AmeriCorps) from 1999 to 2001.
From 2001 to 2007, Johnny served as the Director of Teen Services at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Johnny then became the President of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana, leading a non-profit organization with a budget of $1.8M and seven club sites across four parishes from 2007 to 2010.
Johnny then transitioned to become a Nonprofit Consultant in 2010, providing strategic consulting services to local non-profits. Johnny developed and implemented strategies to exceed annual fundraising goals and improve community service efforts for church-based agencies.
In 2011, Johnny joined Boys & Girls Clubs of America again, this time as the Director of Workforce Development & Financial Education. Johnny developed a workforce development framework to be implemented in Clubs across the country, focusing on career exploration and financial education.
Johnny's next role at Boys & Girls Clubs of America was as the Director of Special Projects, Military Services from 2016 to 2018. Johnny provided non-profit organizational development support to Youth Centers on military installations globally and led the development of annual strategic plans.
Johnny'smost recent role at Boys & Girls Clubs of America is as the Director of Organizational Development since January 2018. Johnny leads a portfolio of 37 military sites in 11 states and 3 regions, promoting organizational development, child safety, and trauma-informed practices. Johnny also develops, implements, and supports the professional development of CYPA staff.
Johnny DiBartolo, JD has a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Tulane University Law School. Prior to that, they attended the University of Notre Dame where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theology/Philosophy. In addition to their educational background, they have also earned certifications such as the Organizational Development Certification Program I & II from DePaul University in July 2019, and the Youth Work Methods Training of Trainers Certification from the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality in April 2019. Johnny has also completed an Advanced Leadership Program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and holds the National Service to Youth Award and National Training Associate recognition from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
