Sarah McCoy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2012, they interned as a Video Production Intern at Mesa Public Schools before moving on to become a Film Association Intern at Arizona State University in 2014. In 2015, they served as a Leadership Fellow and Student Academic Mentor at Arizona State University's School of Film, Dance, and Theatre. Simultaneously, in 2016, they worked as a Media Production Associate at Arizona State University, Student Creative Services.

Sarah's career continued to expand as they joined Boys & Girls Clubs of America as a Program Instructor in 2018, providing guidance and support to the youth. Sarah embarked on a new endeavor in 2017 when they became a Co-Host, Content Producer, and Social Media Manager for the Podcast From Planet Weird, showcasing their creative and communication skills. Additionally, they worked as an Instructional Assistant and Crossing Guard at Mesa Public Schools from 2017 to 2021, contributing to the educational development and safety of students.

Sarah's most recent endeavor, since October 2021, is once again with Boys & Girls Clubs of America as a Program Instructor. Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated a passion for media production, education, and youth development.

Sarah McCoy earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Filmmaking Practices from Arizona State University. Sarah attended the university from 2013 to 2016.
