Blair Ellifson has a diverse work experience timeline. They began their career in 2013 as a Marketing Communications Intern at United Way of Dane County. They then interned at Overture Center for the Arts in 2014 as a Special Events Intern. In 2016, they had multiple roles including Swim Instructor and Special Events and Development Intern at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County. Additionally, they worked as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at City of Monona Parks & Recreation during the same time period. In 2017 and 2018, they worked at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, serving as a Tickets Services Sales Associate and later as a Ticket Services Student Manager. In 2018, Ellifson held roles at both NAMI Dane County as an Operations Specialist and Intern, as well as at Madison Metropolitan School District as an AVID Tutor. They then transitioned to Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County where they held roles as an Education Administrative Assistant, Education Coordinator, and eventually as the Director of Education. Lastly, they worked at Monona Grove School District as a Swim Instructor and Head Lifeguard from 2019 to 2020.
Blair Ellifson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. They completed their studies from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Blair has obtained certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in June 2023, as well as in Youth Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in June 2023.
