Stephanie Johnston

Stephanie Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stephanie is currently working as the Assistant Vice President for Workforce Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County since 2022. Previously, they held the role of Southcentral Regional Director at WRTP | BIG STEP Madison from 2020 to 2022, where they also served as the Interim Southcentral Regional Director for a brief period. Stephanie also worked as the Construction Program Coordinator at WRTP | BIG STEP Madison from 2020 to 2021, where they were responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction-related programs and services. Prior to that, they had roles in project management and field operations at Ideal Builders, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Stephanie also worked as a Project Manager Assistant at Staff Electric Co. from 2008 to 2017, and as an Account Specialist and Administrative Assistant at Gates Business Solutions from 2006 to 2008.

Stephanie Johnston began their education in 2016 at Madison Area Technical College, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Project Management. During their time at the college, they also obtained a Technical Diploma in Management Trainee and a Certificate for the Office Professional, both in the field of Project Management.

In 2017, Stephanie enrolled in The Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin to participate in the Project Manager Development Program (PMDP), further enhancing their skills in this area. That same year, they also completed the Agile Construction Level 1 course offered by MCA, Inc.

Stephanie continued their professional development by obtaining various certifications. In 2018, they received the AGC Project Manager Development Program Certificate from the Associated General Contractors of America. In 2019, they became Procore Certified in Project Manager (Financial Management), Project Manager (Core Tools), and Superintendent through Procore Technologies. Additionally, in 2018, they obtained a Microsoft Excel 2016 Introductory certification from MyITLab.
