Katharine Swanson has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Katharine started their career as an Admissions Office Student Ambassador at Boston College, where they gained presentation and communication skills while representing the university to prospective students and their families.
Katharine then transitioned to teaching, starting as a 5th/6th Grade Summer School Teacher at Saint Columbkille Elementary School, where they developed and implemented curriculum and supervised aides and counselors. Katharine'smost recent position was as an Education Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, where they supervised staff, managed tutoring and academic support sessions, and conducted educational programs covering various subjects. Katharine Swanson completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Secondary Education and Hispanic Studies at Boston College from 2009 to 2013. During their undergraduate years, they also studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for a brief period in 2011 and Universidad Alberto Hurtado for a short duration in 2010. Additionally, they pursued a Master's Degree in Lengua y Cultura Españoles at Universidad de Salamanca from 2014 to 2015.
