Michael Vuong has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Michael began their career in 2010 as a Social Recreation Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, where they were responsible for program planning and community outreach. Michael then transitioned to become a Middle School Services Director, focusing on program creation and community resourcing. In 2014, they became a Site Director, overseeing program operations and staff management. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Site Director and Clubhouse Director, responsible for program advancement, facilities management, and community engagement. Prior to their work at the Boys & Girls Clubs, Michael founded and served as the CEO of Mayor Mike Presents from 2008 to 2015, where they created, partnered, and promoted local events in San Francisco.
Michael Vuong attended the University of Phoenix from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Studies. In addition to their degree, Michael also received several certifications in various cloud-based platforms, including "Cloud Computing First Look," "Google Drive Essential Training," "Learn Office 365: The Basics," "Up and Running with Dropbox," and "Up and Running with WebEx Meetings," all of which were obtained from Lynda.com in September 2016.
