Ryan McCreery has extensive experience in the field of audiology and research. Ryan started their career as an Audiologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital in 2002 and worked there until 2003. In 2003, they worked as an Audiologist at South Seattle Otolaryngology. Ryan then joined Mary Bridge Children's Hospital as an Audiologist in 2004. Later in 2004, they returned to Boys Town National Research Hospital as a Research Audiologist and eventually became a Research Associate. From 2011 to 2013, Ryan served as the Associate Director of Audiology at Boys Town National Research Hospital, where they managed a large audiology clinic and conducted research on optimizing amplification and speech recognition for children with hearing loss. Ryan then became the Director of Audiology, overseeing a larger clinic with four locations and 20+ staff members. In 2017, Ryan was promoted to Director of Research, a role they held until 2021. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Research at Boys Town National Research Hospital.
Ryan McCreery attended Torrington High School from 1992 to 1996. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado from 1996 to 2000. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2000 to 2002 to obtain a Master of Science degree in Audiology. Ryan then continued their education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they completed their Ph.D. in Human Sciences from 2007 to 2011.
