Michael Smith

Michael Smith has extensive experience in chemical engineering, with a career spanning over three decades in various roles. Currently serving as Tech Center Manager and previously as a Chemical Process Engineer at B&P Littleford since March 2015, Michael has a strong history of technical leadership and new product development. Past roles include Technical Manager at Duro-Last Roofing, where responsibilities included raw material qualifications, and Sr. Process Engineer at Sensient Flavors, focusing on process improvements and capital projects. Michael also worked as Associate Engineering Specialist at Dow Corning, where expertise in manufacturing engineering for specialty silicones was developed, and held several engineering positions at AkzoNobel and Dow Chemical, concentrating on process development and research. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
