Jorge Guzman

Jorge Guzman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, legal affairs, and stakeholder engagement across various industries. Currently serving as the Latam Head of Communications and External Affairs at bp since September 2023, Jorge previously held several senior roles at Red Ambiental, including Head of Legal and Government and External Affairs Director from August 2020 to November 2023. Jorge's noteworthy achievements also include significant positions at ArcelorMittal, where responsibilities encompassed government and external affairs, legal functions, and compliance for 18 entities in Mexico. Prior experience at BAT spanned multiple roles in corporate planning, government relations, and social responsibility. An educated professional, Jorge holds a Master's in Economics & Public Policy from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad de Monterrey, and has completed additional studies at prestigious institutions including The George Washington University Law School and IPADE Business School.
