Eric Siegel

Mr. Siegel joined BPEA in 2019 as Managing Director and head of hospitality-related real estate investments. Mr. Siegel has over 30 years of real estate investment and asset management experience. Before joining BPEA, Mr. Siegel was a Partner and Managing Director at GEM Realty Capital, where he worked since 1997 with a primary focus on hospitality and development related investments. During his tenure at GEM, Mr. Siegel completed over US$2 billion in hospitality transactions with major international hotel operators including Accor, Hilton, Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental and Marriott. Previously Mr. Siegel worked for eight years in the Development and Acquisitions group at The John Buck Company.

Mr. Siegel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign, as well as a Masters in Real Estate Finance from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Mr. Siegel is a lifetime member of the Cornell Hotel Society.
