Hannes Valtonen

Mr. Valtonen joined BPEA in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Valtonen was head of overseas compliance at ORIX, and previously was chief compliance officer with PAG, based in Hong Kong since 2010. Before that, he worked as director of compliance and risk at VinaCapital in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam and held internal audit roles in Japan, Korea and the UK.

Mr. Valtonen holds a MSc Finance/Financial Law from London University SOAS, a MBA from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. from York University in Toronto. He is fluent in English, Finnish, Swedish, and Japanese.
