Bernard Gaffney

Bernard Gaffney is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in corporate, transactional, and litigation matters. Currently serving as a Partner at Brown, Paindiris & Scott, LLP since February 2023, Bernard handles various legal issues for clients in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Prior experience includes roles as Counsel at Wilson Elser, where Bernard dealt with defense litigation and major corporate transactions, and as a Partner at Rome McGuigan, focusing on litigation and investigations both domestically and internationally. Bernard has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford, taught Constitutional Law and Ethics, and held positions at Otis Elevator Company and Aetna, managing high exposure legal cases and environmental law research. Bernard holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BA in Political Science from Saint Anselm College.
