Luc Boender

Luc Boender has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Luc started their career as a Bijlesdocent wiskunde/economie (tutor) from 2016 to 2021 while being self-employed. Luc then worked as a Medewerker Verkoopklaar (store employee), Teamleider verkoopklaar (team leader), and later as a Teamleider verkoopklaar (store supervisor) at Albert Heijn from 2015 to the present.

Luc also worked as a Business Controller at Ahold Delhaize from 2021 to 2022, where they supported the business control department for the region of Belgium. In addition, they served as the Treasurer of the Dutch Student Golf Association (NSGV) from 2021 to 2023, where they managed the organization's finances and organized the Dutch Student Golf Tour.

Furthermore, Luc worked as a Category Manager at Shell in 2022 and as a Treasurer for Fides Investments, where they oversaw the financials and coordinated the portfolio management of the investment group from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of President and Treasurer of investment group Fides Investments at B&R Beurs Erasmus Investment Society since 2023.

Luc Boender has a Bachelor's degree in International Business from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2017 to 2018. Luc completed their VWO Atheneum degree in E&M, C&M at Emmauscollege from 2011 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Luc has also obtained certifications in FactSet Essentials: Core Products and FactSet Essentials: Derivatives from FactSet in 2023. Luc has also achieved Microsoft Office Specialist certifications in Excel 2016 and Word 2016 from Microsoft.
