Michael Hauer

Michael Hauer is an experienced software R&D engineer at B&R Industrial Automation since May 2018, specializing in the development of the ACOPOStrak core library using C++. Prior to this role, Hauer worked as a PhD candidate and researcher at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from February 2014 to March 2018, focusing on foundational research in symmetry and equivalences of rational curves and surfaces. Hauer's professional experience also includes various roles in academia and industry, such as creating a Master's thesis on bottleneck detection at MAGNA Powertrain, tutoring in algorithmic methods, and internships involving data analysis at Miba companies. Hauer holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Industrial Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Mathematics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, complemented by an international educational experience at Université Grenoble Alpes.
