Shachar Meretz has worked as a Software Developer for Brain.space since 2022, Amdocs since 2021, and as a Research Assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev since 2020. At Ben-Gurion University, Meretz worked in Dr. Assaf Zaritsky's Laboratory of Information Systems Engineering, which deals with computational dynamics of cells and image processing. Meretz's work involved trying to understand how heterogeneous local non-linear dynamic events integrate in time and space to drive global emergent properties in a simple model of contractile gels. Processing the images and the data was done in python.
Shachar Meretz holds a Bachelor's degree in Software and Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
