Sajid Khanpuri

Sajid Khanpuri's work experience includes roles in various companies. Sajid currently works as an AI Controls Engineer at BrainBox AI since May 2021. Previously, they worked at Regulvar Inc. as a Building Automation Controls & Systems Programmer from April 2019 to May 2021. Before that, they worked at BluMetric Environmental Inc. as a Mechanical Designer from March 2017 to March 2019, where they were responsible for designing water desalination units, wastewater treatment plants, and implementing engineering standards. Prior to that, they worked at Abbott Point of Care Canada Limited as an Associate Assembly Technician from October 2015 to March 2017, where they monitored and maintained assembly lines and resolved quality issues. Sajid also has experience working at uOttawa as a Junior Mechanical Device Developer and Engineering Student Mentor from January 2013 to April 2014, and at Aadils Corner Ltd as a Junior Technical Sales Associate from January 2011 to December 2011.

Sajid Khanpuri completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management & Entrepreneurship from the University of Ottawa. Sajid attended the university from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they pursued their GCE A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics at Lechwe Education Trust from 2004 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) from Health Canada | Santé Canada in January 2012.
