Simon Grötzinger

Simon Grötzinger is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. As a Co-Founder at Brainchimps since March 2023, Simon focuses on integrating people and technology. Previously, Simon co-founded Open as App, serving as CTO and Team Lead from January 2016 until October 2024, where responsibilities included leading an agile development team that grew from 2 to 8 developers. Early in the career, Simon developed a C# back-end for a SaaS no-code platform, along with various other development roles at salesperformer GmbH and TechniData AG. Simon holds a Master's degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich and has professional experience gained through military service and various student positions, all contributing to a solid foundation in software engineering and project management.
