Chris Anastasi has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales, engineering, and consulting.
Chris began their career at XICOR inc in 1996 as a Senior Field Applications Engineer, providing technical support for accounts in Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Chris also remotely supported the Asia Pacific territory and conducted technical training for customers, sales reps, and distributors.
From 1997 to 2004, Chris worked at Zilog as a Senior Field Applications Engineer. Chris was responsible for design-in and technical customer support in Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Las Vegas. Chris received recognition for exceeding the design win budget and served as a trainer and instructor for hands-on workshops and seminars.
At OXFORD/TDI SEMI, Chris held the role of Sr. Product Applications Engineer from 2004 to 2006. Their responsibilities included creating USB development kits for embedded systems, providing technical support for internal and external customers, and focusing on USB technology.
From 2006 to 2010, Chris worked at NXP SEMICONDUCTORS as a Field Applications Engineer. Chris provided customers with design solutions and technical support for ARM Cortex-based processors and firmware. Chris also solved technical design problems for customers both locally and worldwide through web-based support systems.
At Quartics, Chris held the position of Systems Applications Manager/Applications Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Chris supported sales and marketing by providing technical support and assisted in creating video processor applications reference designs and evaluation units.
Following Quartics, Chris co-founded Belapri LLC and served as a Co-Founder/Inventor/Product Development Engineer from 2012 to 2013.
At Richardson RFPD, Chris worked as a Field Sales Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Chris provided technical and sales solutions for customers in the SW territory, focused on RF, wireless, and energy and power technologies. Chris was also involved in demand creation and account management.
As a Consultant from 2015 to 2016, Chris held multiple roles including Field Applications Engineer (FAE), Applications Engineer (AE), Field Sales Engineer, and Consultant. Chris provided technical support and consulting services to various clients.
From 2016 to 2017, Chris worked as a Senior Sales Manager at an LED Lighting Technology Industry.
Currently, since 2017, Chris has been working at BrainChip Holdings Limited as an Application Engineer. Their role involves working with neuromorphic computing and developing spiking neural network (SNN) technology that mimics the functionality of the human brain.
Chris Anastasi has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from National University. Additionally, they have a Certificate in Telecommunications Engineering from UC Irvine and an Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology from Orange Coast College. Chris also holds a Certificate in Advanced Software Technology from UC Irvine. Chris has obtained several additional certifications, including the Advanced Communicator Gold from Toastmasters International in June 2020, Foundations of Programming: Object-Oriented Design from Lynda.com in October 2016, and Up and Running with C++ from Lynda.com in October 2016.
