Kevin Quiñones

Director of Marketing, Program Manager and Liaison at Brainfuse

Kevin Quiñones has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Kevin started their career as a Math and Science Teacher at Banana Kelly High School in 2005 and later joined the New York City Teaching Fellows Cohort as a Math Teacher from 2005 to 2008. During this time, they also worked as a Math Instructor at the Felisa Rincon Institute for Law & Public Policy. Kevin then became a 9th Grade Math Teacher at Harlem Educational Activities Fund in 2008. In the same year, they joined Obama for America as a Deputy Field Organizer, where they helped mobilize and promote community awareness. Kevin also worked as a Science Teacher at Mount Saint Michael Academy and a Consultant at the East Harlem Tutorial Program. From 2010 to 2010, they worked as a Science Teacher at Summer on the Hill at Horace Mann School. Finally, Kevin joined Brainfuse, Inc in 2008 and held multiple roles including Director of Marketing, Program Manager, and Liaison. In this position, they spearheaded marketing and outreach efforts to New York City Title I school, connecting at-risk schools with technological resources to promote school-wide achievement.

Kevin Quiñones earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics at The City College of New York from 2005 to 2009.
