Lighting Solution Developer at Brainlit

Daniel Johnsson has worked in various roles in the lighting industry since 2001. Daniel began their career as a Salesperson at ICA in 2001, followed by a Salesperson role at IDdesign a/s - IDEmøbler & ILVA in 2007. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Zumtobel Group as a Lighting Planner - Lighting Design Nordic and Indoor Sales - Customer Service Nordic. Currently, they are working as a Lighting Solutions Developer and Solution Design Specialist at BrainLit. As a Solution Designer, they are part of a small team responsible for the company's biocentric light* projects. Additionally, the team acts as an internal advisor on lighting design/lighting standards and provides support to installers, architects, and lighting designers regarding the relationship to biocentric light. At BrainLit, Daniel works in a highly deadline-driven development environment, with a focus on quality and delivery.

Daniel Johnsson's education history consists of studying Industriell Design at Uppsala University from 2004 to 2007, Ljusarmaturdesign at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Interaktion, Design och Användbarhet I+II at University of Skövde, Form och Design at Hällefors Folkhögskola, Psykologi A+B at Lund University, and Omvärldsanalys A at Malmö University. No additional certifications have been obtained.
