Truls Löwgren

Truls Löwgren has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2003. From 2003-2005, they were a Development Engineer at Qumat Technologies AB, where they worked on projects in the areas of photonics and electronics. Truls then moved to QuNano AB in 2005, where they continued in the same role and also represented the company in the EC-project NODE. In 2006, they moved to Glo AB as a Process Manager and Senior Development Engineer, where they worked on the development of GaN Nanowire based HB-LED for general illumination purposes. In 2011, they joined Illumitex Inc as a Senior Integration Engineer and also joined Glo-USA as a Process Manager and Senior Development Engineer, where they were responsible for transferring the technology developed in Sweden to the Silicon Valley site. In 2013, they joined Aledia SAS as a Product Manager and CTO Advisor. From 2014-2016, they worked at Century Europe AB as a Product Manager, representing retail security, display and information systems including EAS, ESL, RFID and NFC on the European market. Finally, they joined BrainLit in 2016, where they held the roles of VP Lighting Tech, CTO, and Head of Product Development.

Truls Löwgren's education history includes a M.Sc. in Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1997 to 2003, and a brief stint studying French Studies at Université catholique de Lyon in 2001. Truls also attended Sandeplan and Sandeplanskolan, though no further information is provided.
