Henrik Westerberg

Henrik Westerberg began their work experience in 2005 as a Junior Postdoc at the Medical Research Council. Henrik then moved on to the Strathclyde Planning Group as a Junior Postdoc for a brief period in 2006. In 2007, they joined the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) as a Senior Postdoc until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Henrik worked as a Data Wrangler at the Medical Research Council. Henrik then joined MRC Harwell in 2016 as the Head of Bioimage Informatics, a role they held until March 2022. Currently, Henrik is working as an Algorithm Researcher at BRAINOMIX starting from June 2022.

Henrik Westerberg completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, at The University of Edinburgh from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued higher education at the same institution and obtained their Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from 2000 to 2006.
