Jay Pearson-Shorey

Jay Pearson-Shorey has a diverse range of work experience in web development and frontend development. Jay started their career in 2009 as a Senior Developer at Kailexx Web Services, where they worked for ten years. In 2019, they joined Fugro as a Web Developer, primarily focusing on UI development for the MetOcean Innovation team. During this time, they also supported full stack development using technologies like Bootstrap, jQuery, and Vue. In 2021, they joined BRAINOMIX as a Frontend Developer, where they are part of a team using AI and machine learning to develop tools and systems for diagnosing danger spots in stroke patients. Jay uses VueJS to create frontend tools and applications for medical staff.

Jay Pearson-Shorey attended Maidstone Grammar School for Boys from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained their A Level degree. Their field of study included Computer Science and Art and Design: Graphics. In addition to their formal education, Jay has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. These certifications include Learning Django, Learning Python, CSS: Design Systems and Architectures, CSS: Variable Fonts, JavaScript and AJAX: Integration Techniques, JavaScript and JSON: Integration Techniques, JavaScript: Best Practices for Code Formatting, JavaScript: Best Practices for Data, JavaScript: Security Essentials, Learning REST APIs, Vue.js 3 Essential Training, and Vue.js for Web Designers. Most of these certifications were obtained in May and June of 2021.
