Cheryl Garner

Cheryl Garner is a Master Instructor and Content Developer at Brainspring Orton-Gillingham since May 2017, specializing in Reading Instruction with extensive expertise in phonics, guided reading, and reading comprehension. Prior to this role, Cheryl served as a Reading Coach and Teacher at Orange County Public Schools from September 1990 to May 2017, where significant contributions included improving a D-rated school to a B-rating and promoting professional development initiatives. Cheryl also has experience as a Writer/Editor for HMH School Publishers from May 2003 to June 2015, focusing on aligning educational standards to assessment items and developing instructional content.
