Sofia Korniliou is an experienced instrumentation engineer at Bramble Energy Limited, focusing on automating quality processes for hydrogen fuel cells and developing test systems for electrolyser systems. Currently a higher research scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, Sofia has established a strong background in infrared thermography, thermal modelling, and calibration, contributing to projects in nuclear decommissioning and hydrogen storage. Previously, Sofia was a postdoctoral research fellow at Brunel University London, studying heat transfer enhancement in microscale boiling and condensation processes, and worked as a research assistant at l'Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France on improving thermal conductivity in epoxy resin composites. Sofia holds a PhD in Engineering from The University of Edinburgh and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras.
