Marc Espitia

Senior Systems Engineer at Brandes Associates Inc.

Marc Espitia has extensive work experience in mission planning and systems engineering. Marc started their career at SAIC as a Systems Analyst from August 1994 to June 1997. Marc then joined Brandes Associates Inc. in 1997 as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they oversaw the consolidation of mission planning requirements for the AV-8B Harrier and CH-53K Super Stallion. Marc managed a team of engineering personnel and was responsible for the development and fielding of a mission planning and strike execution system. Marc worked at Brandes Associates Inc. until 2009. In 2005, they also worked at Strike Planning & Execution Systems (PMA-281) and the U.S. Marine Corps & U.S. Navy as a Mission Planning Environment Lead.

Marc Espitia has a solid education history with a focus on management, strategic studies, and naval intelligence. In 1978, they began their education at Naval Postgraduate School, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Naval Intelligence. Marc successfully completed their studies in 1981. Later, in 1984, Espitia attended U.S. Naval War College, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Studies, which they completed in 1985. Finally, they attended Salve Regina University in 1985, earning a Master of Science degree in Management by 1986.
