Carlos Oliveira

Carlos Oliveira has a strong background in the financial industry with over 20 years of experience. Carlos started their career as a Tax Research Specialist at Wells Fargo Institutional Trust Company in 1994. After two years, they moved to Barclays Global Investors (BGI) where they worked as a Transition Services Manager for four years. In 2001, Carlos joined Transcentive as an Implementation Manager for six months. Then, they joined Brandes Investment Partners in the same year and held various roles including Senior Business Systems Analyst and Relationship Manager, Electronic Trading Solutions, and currently serves as the Head of Trading Analytics and Market Structure. Carlos has been with Brandes Investment Partners since 2001.

Carlos Oliveira earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance, and French from Grand Canyon University in 1990. Carlos later obtained a Certificate in Client Server Technology/Databases from San Francisco State University in 2000. In 2006, Carlos enrolled in The George Washington University and earned a CBAP degree in Business Analysis. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015 and "DataRobot Essentials" from DataRobot.
