Argin Mkrtchian Eit

Argin Mkrtchian, PE, currently serves as a Project Engineer and Structural Design Engineer at Brandow & Johnston since September 2022. Prior to this role, Argin held positions at the University of Southern California as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, contributing to courses in Structural Design, Structural Dynamics, and civil engineering software while developing scientific workflows for composite materials. Previous internships at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger and the Port of Los Angeles involved seismic analysis, structural component design, field investigations, and the preparation of construction plans and permit applications. Argin earned a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of Southern California, complemented by studies at Glendale Community College.
