Gabriel Lanzaro

Gabriel Lanzaro is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in transportation engineering and leadership. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia since 2019, Gabriel has taught various civil engineering courses, specializing in transportation. As CEO of the Brazilian Student Association, Gabriel has empowered Brazilian students abroad, while also holding multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Chief Operations Officer and Director of Human Resources. Previous experience includes mentorship in academic programs and civil design engineering at Rhumb Planejamento e Urbanismo. Gabriel holds a PhD in Transportation and Highway Engineering from The University of British Columbia, along with a Master’s degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's degree from Universidade de Brasília.
