Mariana Ferraz

Mariana Ferraz is currently a Research Assistant on the Web Scraping Team at the University of Michigan's Mind in Society Lab, focusing on racial inequality and individual behaviors. In addition to this role, Mariana serves as Head of Finance for Empty Mug Records, the University of Michigan's only student-run record label, and holds the position of Vice President at BRASA - Brazilian Student Association. Mariana is also the DEI Chair for both the Michigan Music Business Club and the Michigan A Cappella Council, while participating as a mezzo-soprano singer in DJs A Cappella. Previous experience includes a role as President of Heartbeat: Philanthropic A Cappella, where Mariana organized performances and charitable initiatives. Mariana has an educational background in Information Analysis and Organizational Behavior Studies at the University of Michigan, complemented by a brief study at Griffith College Dublin.
